I need to create an Excel Template which is a simple pricing and quotation tool. I'd like to embed two buttons in the spreadsheet (in cells) That reduce and expand the listed items depending on whether there is a non blank field for quantity. e.g. Description, Price, Qty, Total

I've done it reasonably succesfully using a macro and assigning the macro to a custom button in the toolbar but the button doesnt travel with the sheet when sent to other users. Can anybody explain how to turn a cell into a button so that I can click on the cell to get the same effect?

Thanks

Mike

View the "Controls" toolbar, and draw a button on your spreadsheet. Click on the view code button to get at the code for the object.

Cheers, Glenn.

Thanks Glenn. Works fine
