Excel Autofilter Question

Whenever I apply Autofilter to an area, a small drop down arrow icon appears at the top of the column, is there anyway to not have this appear? The autofilter is applied by a macro activated by a button, and I don't want the user to accidently further filter the results.

Then, use the Advanced Filter instead.
