Excel Autocomplete help needed

HI,
In Excel, when filling in field the data in it autocompletes which is fine, problem is that it brings with it formatting from the previous entry even though there are two previous entries the same but one in black and one in red. it brings the red colour and i need it to stay black

Select Tools - Options, and on the Edit tab, uncheck the "Extend list formats and values" box. That function only works if 3 out of the last 5 entries have the same format.
