I have Exchange Server 2003 in a lab and I'm testing OWA. On an XP box with SP2 and Office 2003 SP1, I open an e-mail with a Word attachment and it opens fine. When I open an e-mail with an Excel spreadsheet, I get prompted for my domain user name and password. Once entered, the attachment opens. If I have three e-mails with Excel attachments, I would have to enter my username and password for each attachment, even though I've already entered it for the previous e-mail. What's funny is if I just hit "Cancel" three times, the attachment will open. Has anyone seen this before?

I have SP1 installed. I will try the other option and let yo know if it works.

The IIS temp folder is empty. I called Microsoft about this. They led me to this KB article:

They also said that Office 2003 is designed to work with SharePoint. So when a user in OWA clicks on a message with an Excel attachment, Excel is looking for SharePoint information on the Exchange server. What's weird is why doesn't the article say anything about this?
