Very strange issue...

When attempting to save a password protected file the user is getting a "Disk is Full" and "Document not saved" errors regardless of where they attempt to save the file. I have verified that this is not a quota/disk space issue nor is it a rights issue. Here is the strange part...

In the password protection options of Excel 2003, the error occurs when you use the "Office 97/2000 Compatible" or any "RC4" encryption methods, but does not happen when you use "Weak Encryption (XOR)".

Has anyone encountered this before, and if so, does anyone know of a solution?

I came across a similar problem with a User's Network stored file. I shifted ports on the network and the problem appeared to 'go away' although I wasn't (and still am not) convinced that that was the fix.

I did find this link which points you at some possible solutions/explanations
