I have a problem with an XP Pro user working in MS Excel 2003. In Windows Explorer, trying to drag/drop Excel file to a new location, get the message of "file in use by another application". No other app or user is accessing the file.
This is intermittent, but only seems to happen with large files - 10 MB or so or bigger. Also the files are on a Win 2000 file server.
Copying the file to local C: drive, renaming, then copying file back to original location, fixes the problem.
Any help much appreciated.
