Strange issue. Using the cursor keys to move around in a spread sheet works fine until the Print Preview function is used. After this time, the reponse time between key-press and cell movement are lagged considerably. Does Excel use temporary storage of any kind that may need emptying? Would anyone know of any other dependencies or reasons why this would occur?

Make sure you have the latest print drivers installed on the system. Would be a good idea to uninstall the old ones.

Alos, check to see if you have adequate amount of RAM in the system and the Virtual Memory is set properly. Don't forget VM depends on you hard drive space available.

xlhelp, I appreciate the reply...

We use a print server, so this issue would be static across 80 machines... it's only this one (that I know of) that is acting up. These machines are 2.4Ghz with 512MB DDR and pleanty of swap space. I have a feeling this issue is related directly to Excel and not to the operating system, but am unfamiliar with the ins-and-outs of Excel resource handling.
