I am trying to figure how to go about purchasing exam insurance and in my searches i keep seeing "purchase exam insurance before May 30, 2007" and use by June 30th, 07.

Is it no longer an option?

If it is can someone please help me to figure out how or where to purchase it. Microsoft's website was no help and i dont see anything about it on prometric or vue's websites.

Thanks,

Update on this issue:

I received this email from our local testing center.

"Hey Andrew,

Momentum is no longer offering the exam insurance promotion. You can speak with Ben Blouin who administers the test and find out if you have any options or not.

meredith waguespack | senior account manager | momentum"

That would not be cool if exam insurance is gone. I tend to get nervous during tests and i like that cushion.

As it is now July, that promotion is no longer available. But as they have been doing these kind of promotions off and on, something will probably return in time?

Wow, i didn't realize it was something they just turned on and off at their leisure. I haven't needed to use it yet but its still a nice cushion to have and it definitely makes me a lot calmer while sitting the test.

The thing thats weird is Microsoft still has this page up on their website like nothing is different.

but when i follow the link "Get Exam Insurance" it takes me to my testing centers website and the email above is the one i received from them which seems as though it is not offered. I am still waiting to hear back from Ben though. I will post when i do. It's just a little frustrating. Thanks for your post paella33. Anyone else have any ideas on the subject?

Thanks,

I really liked there free second chance offer. Made the first exam a little less nerve racking.

I was on a training camp last week, and the instructors had heard on the grape vine that the insurance would be an option again in August.

If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?

wow thanks Juan, this will come in handy. Too bad i have had my 290 already scheduled since last month for this thursday. but the second shot will definitely come in handy for the harder 291 test.

As of September 15, exam insurance is in affect until January 31, 2008. If you schedule any of the microsoft exams and pass, well you pass, but if you fail, you can retake at no cost.

Do not pray to have an easier life, pray to be a stronger man!!!
