In our office, everyone is connected through a common server, where we all run XPpro. Sometimes it is desired to save a file to the server where everyone can access it. We'd like everyone to have full control over these documents.

Under security, 'Everyone' is added with full control. That works fine until someone modifies and saves the document. Then only that particular person and administrator have full control privileges. It's aggravating because each time the document is saved we have to reinsert 'Everyone' with full control permissions.

How can we keep the documents under 'Everyone's control all the time?

on your server make a generic group for everone to be a part of.
have everyone assigned to that group.
allow that group full rights to the shared folder where all the files are stored.
should fix your prob

It's really not as easy......
as I make it look!
