We have a big domain with many OUs under the domain (each being its own geographic location). Each location has its own set of servers/users/computers under its respectable OU.
Domain
-location ou
--location users
--location computers
--location servers
-other location
--other users, computers, servers
-other location
--other users, computers, servers
Background Info... I'm configuring a file server at one of these sites and I'm using the "everyone" group to mark generic/shared areas on the server... but it's not for everyone on the domain in all OUs/sites... it's really only for everyone in my Users OU at that one site.
Question... Is there a built-in group that would only cover the users under my location OU or do I manually have to upkeep one that would included all THIS locations users. Or am I completely wrong in saying that the everyone group includes everyone across the whole domain.
Thanks!
