I keep getting this error.

Virtual Server 2: SMTP server cannot read metabase key MailPickupDir.


I have used MetaEdit to delete the orphaned SMTP Virtual Server. I have no clue what keeps trying to creat it after a reboot.

Any help will be most appreciated!

Did you add a second virtual SMTP server and then remove it?

I'm Certifiable, not certified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

Nope I never have created a 2nd Virtual Server in Exchange...I get rid of it, btu somethign keeps creating it. This has shown up since upgrading Symantec mail Security, but they say there'a no way or reason for to create a 2nd VS. I'm stummped

I thought abotu creating a 2nd just it was there and see if all go well , then properly remove it or stop that VS
