Getting these errors:

4000
The DNS server was unable to open Active Directory. This DNS server is configured to obtain and use information from the directory for this zone and is unable to load the zone without it. Check that the Active Directory is functioning properly and reload the zone. The event data is the error code.

9999
The DNS server has encountered numerous run-time events. These are usually caused by the reception of bad or unexpected packets, or from problems with or excessive replication traffic. The data is the number of suppressed events encountered in the last 15 minute interval.

Have these errors been occuring regurly? What service pack is you 2000 server?

Regularly, yes. SP4.

Just found a second ethernet adapter enabled on that machine. This is not normal & the secondary interface has been disabled. I'll have to speak with the admin as to what the reason was. That must've been the reason, I'll keep an eye on the logs. Thanks.
