I keep getting errors in the event viewer with Event Id of 2 and the source is IISLOG
This is IIS 5.0 win2K (obviously) with sp3
IIS Logging was unable to create the directory 0. The data is the error.

Is the message i keep getting...i looked at knowledge base articles and none seem to address this particular issue on IIS 5...it says to replace a couple dll's but they are two years older than the ones i have installed

I assume you have already checked the path for the log file in IIS and verified it is a vaild path and that the system account has rights to the folder. You might want to try giving the everyone group full control of the folder and see what happens. Also might want to try reapplying SP3.

Yes system account had full control of the folder...I believe this machine was upgraded from nt 4 to 2000 so that may be part of the problem too, may just do a reload of win2K only...
