Has anybody heard of an event id 16? I had a server hang until I had to re-boot it, and checked my log files and I had 23 of these. They were all related to office scan trying to update different pc's, then it would time out and move onto another pc. The event's all took place during the time when the server was locked up. I couldnt' even do ctrl, alt, del to find what the problem was. It almost looks like it was trying to apply a patch, but when I looked up the time the log says the patch was downloaded, there was nothing downloaded on that date. I do all our downloads for the patches and save them in c:\microsoft patches. Below is the log. Apologize if it's a bit long, but if Trend is automatically downloading patches, I thought I'd better let people know. (Trend goes out every night at midnight on this server and looks for new updates.) Also, nothing on the web site referenced.
