Hello gurus,
I know this an old topic and most of you are moved on better and bigger things but perhaps you have a min. to advise.
This is my first attempt at ActiveSync and I am stumped.
I am using BE-FE setup where I require SSL for OWA...all is well.
Event ID above is logged when I access or with SSL disabled on this vdir
I have looked at where most people seem to have resovled this issue. However, this article clearly states:
Important Method 2 should be used only in an environment that has no Exchange Server 2003 front-end server. The registry changes should be made only on the server on which the mailboxes are located.
so this solution doesn't apply to front end setup.

I have also tried 3-4 times with same results.
Same discussed on Jims blog
Again, not a word about using FE.
All of my attempts (for last 2 weeks of killing OWA and rebuilding it) described above were on FE and failed.
BE server doesn't require SSL nor Form Authentication.
I have also edited headers to reflect NetBios name of the server...
It has definetly become one of the WTF questions but I am drading 2-3hrs of MS support...

Anyone got this working with BE-FE-SSL?
Many thanks for your time!!!

Small update, OMA is now accesible but still getting the same dreaded "Activesync Error 0×85010014" on the phone while logs on FE remain clean.
Anyone?
Thanks again!
