Event Calendar script 1

Does anyone know of a good web based event calendar writtern in javascript? I've been searching for two days now and have found php, access, perl, and database type calendars. I'd like to find a script that would let an "admin" user edit and delete the calendar through their browser and, without having a database backend and any kind of server requirements.

Is a script like this possible? I don't know javascript and sure could use some help.

Javascript is a client side language. It can handle the user interface side of the calendar. But without coupling it to some sort of database on the server, there would be nowhere and no way to store any changes.
