Hi everyone,
we recently upgraded all of our Arcserve servers and agents to 11.1. I noticed that my Exchange backups are particularly suffering over this. In a routine sniffing of the traffic on those switches I picked up the following traces during the Exchange 2000 backup:
Source: Exchange Server
Destination: Backup Server
Summary: CIFS/SMB: R Read AndX Status= Warning: STATUS_BUFFER_OVERFLOW
Underneath that I can see the frame cut into smaller bits (1/11. 2/11, 3/11, etc) - In the details I can see email messages (where I am pretty sure there should be none...)
Has anyone else seen anything similar to this?
