Eval Version Expiry too early

We've installed an eval version of 2003 to see if it is compatible with the software we produce. We ran some of our validation software which unfortunately changed the BIOS date on the server to 1995. We 've changed the date back but it still says the product has expired. We have found the article from MS about this but all it says is that they confirm the problem and describe winver to check the end date (which is correct). Is there anything we can do to correct this problem so we can use the remainder of the eval?
