I have Worldmail 2.x and our remote locations can't send email through the Internet. Sending email to others in our company works just fine. Each remote user gets the same error message: "No transport provider was available for delivery to this receipient". DNS works fine and I can telnet into port 25 of the email server from any remote location.

These remote locations don't have their own email server. We may have two or three computers there at most.

I went through Microsoft's Q-article Q197417 and nothing from it applies.

Please help!

If the remote locations don't have their own mail server then either they must relay through the SMTP server of the ISP that they are connected through or if they are sending directly to your mail server at the central site then you must allow them to relay through your server.

Thanks. I found the problem. It was a relay problem. The person who restricted relaying didn't put in all of the IP Addresses necessary allowing our remote locations to relay.

Thanks again.
