Assuming this is a switched network, you will have to setup the interface your local nic is connected on in a "port monitor" or "span" mode to watch all the traffic in/out of the firewall.
Once you've started capturing packets with Ethereal or Wireshark (the new version of ethereal), there are some canned reports under the Statistics menu to get the information you are looking for.
