Hi,
I have an etherchannel work between an Cisco 2960G and Cisco 4948. My actual load-balancing is different in two routers, but My ettherchannel works !!.
Cisco 2960: Source MAC address
Cisco 4948: Source XOR Destination IP address

Do I have the same load-balancing in two routers?

Thanks.

the load-balancing algorithm doesn't need to match for the etherchannel to form (as you can see). you can change the load-balancing on the 2960 to match that of the 4948 by entering (from global config mode) port-channel load-balance src-dst-ip

I hate all Uppercase... I don't want my groups to seem angry at me all the time! =)
