errors when operning explorer

every time i opan a file or iE6 browser i get the same error failed to get data for ad can anybody help

Hi,
This message kept appearing on my PC beforeand was solved by removing the cpr.dll file.

I would be inclined to check the machine for viruses & spyware.
Have you tried doing a fix for IE6 & have you downloaded all the updates for the machine?

Removing the cpr.dll file is a definite fix,
the issue is caused by an expired Borland dll file which other programmes do not use.

i have tried to remove the cpr.dll but it will not allow me what is it running so i can stop it

If you are using a machine that has a FAT or FAT32 c: partition, then you can boot into DOS with a bootable floppy disk & delete this file.
