error when trying to load cuurent project

I was having problems with my premiere it was freezing so I reinstalled premiere 5.1 when I tried to load the project I was working with I got an error window saying something was wrong with my im-vfw.prm plugin. I've reinstalled windows 98 my capture card drivers which is DV 300. I Have now idea what to do next. Any help would be appreciated.
