I have deleted a switchboard which opened when you clicked on the db icon. I have instead created a form that should open upon clicking on the db icon. The problem is I get an error saying that it is looking for the switchboard and this no longer exists.

Probably your original switchboard was named in the Access Startup menu (Tools > Startup)

You can always bypass the Startup by holding down the Shift key while you open the database. That will allow you to go into Startup and enter the name of the new form you have created.

Hope that helps.

Whew! It's always frustrating when nothing at all shows up, isn't it?

I knew something was going on because I went in and deleted all everything affiliated with switchboard and into the vba code as well.
