hello guys ,
i have this message when trying to install System Platform 6.3.7 on hp proliant (DL 360 G9 ) server . any help :

The Hard Drive size you created is not enough space to complete the install

Also are you trying to install 6.3.7 brand new, if so you can not. You have to install 6.0 first before you upgrade to latest version.

- yes , i am installing a fresh instalation of system plat form but i allerdy installed it on s8800 server . does it matter if dl360 or s8800 ??

- the RAID configuration is set to RAID1. should i check any other configurations ??

thank you guys for help.

I had one similar on a true s8800. Gave the same message but I'm not 100% sure how I cleared it. I booted the server with a monitor and went into the RAID utility. I thought I messed it up worse since after I was done, the 2 drives refused to be added to a logical array when they were in an array when I started. I restarted the server and CM was then able to format, partition, and install. Not sure if that helps. It was a CM5.2 btw but the same exact screen/error.

I have always used dl360, I think you have to check the S8800 due to some hardware needs to be updated first

Did you buy the DL360 from Avaya or somewhere else?

Is that even supported?
Think Avaya delivers G8 servers.

What's the specs on the server?

Yes, the correct answer is that HP DL360 G9 is not supported by System Platform yet. The issue is the HP RAID drivers for the hardware that is used in the G9.

The other issues mentioned about S8800 System Platform should work there but many of those servers either have dead RAID batteries or were never equipped with a RAID controller in the first place.
