I kept getting this error:

"net" is not recognized as internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I get the above error when trying to use net use or net stop...anything that has the "net" in front of it. How do I resolve this problem? Any help is appreciated.

When I searched for the file net.exe in the folder windows\system32, I do not see the file. So I copy the file as you sugested from another similar server to this folder. However, it is not working. I kepting getting the error "System error 5 has occured. Access denied.

Thanks! Somehow I got it working now. I saw a file called net1.exe after I copied the other file into the directory. Once I delete the file I copyied off the folder it works.
