digest: 0781-017 error in config file /etc/qadm.config, line 95.
digest: (FATAL ERROR): 0781-012 No device line in queue stanza.
mkque: (FATAL ERROR): 0781-277 Error from digester /usr/lib/lpd/digest, status =
-1024, rv = 19892.
I am getting the above error when trying to add a print queue using SMIT.
The sequence I use:
1. smit printers
2. print spooling
3. add print queue
4. <select> hpdirect
5. <select> Hewlett-pakard
6. hplj-4000 Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4000
7. 2 Do NOT make this system a BOOTP/TFTP server
8. Names of NEW print queues to add
PCL [printqueue1]
PostScript []
HP-GL/2 []
Printer connection characteristics
* HOSTNAME of the JetDirect Card [printque]
* PORT [9100] +#
When saving at this point I get the error.
Here is the entry in the mentioned file at line 95:
hp_land:
up = TRUE
printqueue1:
device = dummy^?
dummy^?:
backend = dummy^?
Does anyone know what’s going wrong??
