Hello,

I have an Access Database which runs on 3 computers 24/7. It allows employees to log in and out of jobs throughout the day. On one of my computers I get an error message that pops up, but only after running for a couple of days. The Message reads "Microsoft Access Was Unable To Create A Window". This error comes when another form is suppose to be loaded from the press of a button.

Does anyone have any ideas why this error message appears. It only seems to come on the one computer and not the other 2. So, I am thinking it's something to do with the computer or it's network connection, but can't be sure.

Any help would be appreciated

I'm Still getting this problem from time to time and have yet to find an answer, does anyone have any clue.

Thanks

You have to watch the resources on this computer.
You may have more acurate replies in a Windows forum.

Hope This Help, PH.

I agree with PHV; I think this is probably a Windows resource problem. If the problem was with Access it:

A) Would appear on all computers running the DB
B) Not take several days to appear

This smacks of a resource problem! Look at what the offending computer is doing that the compliant computers are not. If necessary get you office computer guru to look at the problem. Many times the best programmer in the shop doesn't have the where with all to diagnose system/hardware problems.

I would suspect there might be a memory leak in the Access application which is failing to free up memory resources. If and when it shows up on any machine will depend on the amount of memory in the machine, and what other applications are running on that machine.

Good Luck
