Hi there can anyone help me out with this problem ?
We are running AIX 5.1 on a IBM P series server.
I downloaded the SAMBA-3.0.2.
When i run the configure script (using a gcc compiler with command ./configure --with-smbwrapper --with-msdfs --with-syslog 2>&1 | tee /admin/logfile)
I get this error msg:
checking configure summary... ERROR: No locking available. Running Samba would be unsafe
configure: error: summary failure. Aborting config
when i look into the logfile created i see this:
No syscall() -- disabling smbwrapper and smbsh
Do you know a patch or workarround for this issue.
