Error "numeric field overflow" on export

Hi,

I have this message "numeric field overflow" when I try to export my data to Excel 2000.

Some dates like '12/31/2999' but I think it's not a problem for Excel...and I've no problem for TXT or DBF exports.

My BO => v 5.1.3

You've solved your own problem. The issue is likely an MDAC one. THe API that BO uses to export to Excel is Microsoft's, so there is little that you can do.

It's better to export as txt anyway. MDAC still has a 32K row limit even though Excel doesn't have that limit.

Thanks but...my users need to export as xls (others applications need Excel file and not txt file).

If the problem is about this API, I think it's existing different versions of it : some users can export request with '12/31/2999' without problem...

I'm trying to see why...

But, if you export to a .tab file, Excel opens it just fine and it doesn't have these problems.
