greetings all-
a pc has office xp installed (came factory direct).
has worked great for 4 months, but now when you go to open powerpoint or excel, it prompts you for a proret.msi install file.
it asks for the office xp cd to find this. but, after putting the cd in, it says it still can't find the required file. if you hit cancel, it still launches into the program. but, the end user is getting irritated with it.
other office programs such as word launch without error.
