error number 429, package and deployment wizard 1

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to use the package and deployment wizard, and everytime I do I get this error message,

Unexpected error number 429 has occured: ActiveX component can't create object.

I have no idea what this means, all ideas and insight would be a great help.

Maybe try re-registering dlls/ocxs in
<Visual Studio Dir>\VB98\Wizards\PDWizard

Your P&D is missing some files it needs to run (or they are not registered).

1. Make sure you have VB6 SP5
