Error message whilst trying to install Exchange 2003 on Server 2000

Hi there, I've googled this but can't seem to find an answer that works so though I'd ask just in case.

I'm trying to install Exchange 2003 on a Windows 2000 server - it's not a DC in the AD structure.

It's giving me the error 0xC103798A when it trys to prepare the forest for exchange.

I did the whole install on a standalone server and it worked fine so I suspect it's either how I've got 2000 setup on this server or it's some sort of conflict on the AD setup. I've tried a few things suggested on other sites but no further forward.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
