Hi,

I've created a new form detailing all details regarding our clients, and have used the wizard to insert a subform, which should display details of our training to them. The relationships between these two fields is configured via the ID field in Clients to the clients_id field in Training. Join type is set to all records from Clients, only Training records where equal. Ref. Integrity is currently switched off.

The Training subform was created without any errors. However, when I go to insert new information via the subform, I receive the error message "The LinkMasterFields property setting has produced this error 'The object doesn't contain the Automation object 'Clients'"

Can anyone please tell me where I've gone wrong.

Thanks in advance.

B.M.

Do you have the main form's record source property set to the main table (Clients) and the sub form set to the sub table (Training)? If so, as long as the Child and Master fields are set up correctly for the subform it should work.

Have fun!)
