Error message when opening window

I am running Win 2K Pro on a Compaq Presario. When I go into the Control
I'm a programmer and have run into a problem beyond my purview. I am running Win2K Pro on a Compaq Presario. When l try to open the Add/Remove Programs window, I get this error
message:

An unexpected error occurred

Object doesn't support this property or method

Line: 75

Any thoughts or suggestion would be appreciated.

Have you tried to repair your Win2000 install? Just boot either of the Win2000 CD or boot floppies and when prompted choose repair.
