When using a form to enter a new record and then save it, I keep getting this error message:

The command or action "SaveRecord" isn't available now.

I checked the Microsoft Knowledge Base for a document on something similar but didn't find one. Anyone have a clue as to what the problem may be?

Thanks in advance,
Kerry

I had that same error bug me a while back. Some of your code is running/looping in the background and is causing Access to keep its focus on it, thus overriding the form's save operation. Check any code you have that is executing before you get to saving the record on your form.To check this, do a CTRL+Break and select debug after that message pops up. If this doesn't work, close Access altogether, open it up again and close all forms including your switchboard. From the database window, run your data entry form and try to enter and save your records.
