My company uses foxpro extensivly. When we have to install our foxpro driven program on the end users PC if it is an XP pc we have to install VFPODBC.MSI as XP will not use foxpro without it. this in of itself is not a problem except for when a folder in the registry indicating where foxpro is supposed to install is missing/corrupted. it is HKLM\software\odbc\odbcinst.ini. If this last entry is missing (usually due to a sloppy uninstall routine of several programs including Corell word perfect)then I get an error 1316. Is there any way to re-create this reg entry or copy it from one PC to another? The only way we have been able to fix this is thru a system restore which in many cases is not an option as the end user has no idea what caused this folder to be deleted. Any help would be appreciated.
