Error installing CS3 1

Hey guys, I amt rying to install CS3 but every time I get the error "This installation is forbidden by system policy.
Contact your system administrator"....obviously I am looged in as admin and I made sure that there are not Local Group Policies. This computer is NOT part of a Domain...can anyone help me?....

Try setting up a new user with Admin rights and then install from that log in.

If you can't then there's sumfin up.

You should perhaps check out the other Tek-Tip forums that deal with your Operating System. It's probably more that than the InDesign install.

...have you tried right click the installer and "run as administrator"?

have you also tried the following?

1. Launch Command Prompt Application ( Start > Run > cmd (Press Enter)

2. Type the command "regsvr32 jscript.dll"
(ensure a space between regsrv32 and jscript.dll)

3. Press enter to execute the typed command.

Then try running the installer again.
