Error executing SQL Strored Procedure

Hi All,
Any idea what this error is about :

"The current transaction cannot be committed and cannot support operations that write to the log file. Roll back the transaction."

Looks to me like you have a transaction with a problem in it that needs a rollback transaction or it will just hang there.

Post your sp code and maybe we can tell you why. In the meantime you may need to run a rollback transaction statement to get the thing to stop hanging. Has this sp ever run without error?

Oh yes.. I started facing this problem about a week back. I am trying to figure out the problem area. Was not suer that was the problem.
