I'm receiving an error message and cannot figure out why, because there seems to be no discernable reason.
Background:
Multi-user database resides on a shared drive.
All users have access to the folder and database.
Users have read/write authority to the shared drive.
All users using Access2000 (9.0.2720)
Some users open the database and select options from the switchboard with no problem. However, others open the database and use all the selections on the switchboard except for one. When they click on one selection, the following message appears:
"There was an error executing the command."
I checked the switchboard design; the selection references a valid form, which is what should open upon its selection. So it makes no sense that the switchboard option would work for one user but not another.
I thought perhaps it had something to do with a dll file, but dll files are global so it doesn't seem that would have an impact on the ability to open a single form from a switchboard selection.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
KerryL
