Error E8602 (68) "Error status in named pipe

Using Brigtstore 11 and get the following error message when attempting to backup brick level. the complete Exchange DB seems to backup fine. These error messages
started when AV software Avast! server edition.
I am running 2003 server with Exchange 2003.


E8602 05/11/2004 01:46:30 283 2 Failed to read from database. (DBNAME=Individual Mailboxes\test1\Calendar, EC=INTAMAC-EXCH:Backup Agent Error -- (68) "Error status in named pipe.".)

It only fails on a number of inboxes, and only on Calender. Some seem to get backed up fine.

The software supplier suggested teminiation 2000/2003 Exchange check and leave file and SMTP checks in place. I have been told this wil provide full protection.
Any ideas on why or how to solve this problem.
