Hi Guys (or Girls),

I have a question about the error DBFNTX/1210. We use a program to administrate the orders. That program is build in CA Clipper. That program is used to make and change records in DBF-files (DBASE3) and the program makes NTX-files (Indexes). Normally we only change data when we are using that program. I changed some data (withoug using that program) in one DBF-file. Now we want to make some changes (we use that program) in that DBF and we get this error: DBFNTX/1210. I searched for it on the web, but I never found an answer. I hope you can help me with solving this problem.

Error 1210 indicates that the DBF and NTX files are out of sync. THis usually happens when the database is updated with out the index being open. If the database was updated through a utility program, which is what seems to have happened, simply recreate the NTX file and restart the application

Internal Error messages are detailed in the "ie52txt.zip" file on Computer Associates ftp site: ftp://mf.cai.com/pub/clipper

There is a Norton's Guide version "ie52ng.zip" as well as other files.

Hope this helps.
