I found out why my database quit working on the other computers here at work. all of the computers are missing the Active X Microsoft Common dialog version 6.0 exept for my laptop, and the boss's computer.

the other 3 computers have absolutuly NO version of Common dialog controls at all...How can I install these on their computers?

Do I just need to find the .OCX file and put it in there system directory or what? if so does anyone know what the file is called?

thanks for any info

Cheap trick: Find and copy COMDLG32.OCX and note where you found it (typically C:\Windows\System(32). If your other computers are of similar vintage and OS paste it in their similar folder. Real Cheap Trick: Take the entire folder contents and paste as above. Anything duplicated and you'll be warned! Gord
