IS-IT--Management
Hi everyone,
I'm kind of new to SQL Server administration, so please bear with me. I've been writing ASP and ASP.NET apps for SQL Server for awhile but weas recently tasked to manage the box on my own.
Anyway, it installed and ran for the first time beautifully, but then I closed down Enterprise Manager to work on something else. When I later reopened Enterprise Manager, it was interrupted by the following error message:
ERROR - SQL Server - DMO
(ERROR CODE: 1024)
And then when Enterprise Manager does open, the registered server(s) won't start, and when expanding the menus...say they contain "no items." Yet, I can still write scripts and pages in ASP to access the data...I just can't do anything from within SQL Server. Neither restarting the server services, nor rebooting do anything.
Help!
