error changing an Expired Password

We presently have a problem when a users password has expired ie we have set our server to require users to change password every 30 days.
When the user tries to change the password an error is returned which reads "The computer name specified in the network path cannot be located"
The clients are windows 95 pcs and using active directory on a windows 2000 server to authenticate and log in.

Have you tried setting up WINS? I think that will help you resolve anything below Windows 2000.

I dont belive it is a wins issue since the client just spoke to the same server(s) to know that a password change was required.
