Error: Cannot Open Any More Databases

I get the above message when a user is at a certain point in the database. The database worked fine until I split the tables from the rest of the data base.

The database has 20 form with about 150 fields (it is a questionnaire) with a yes/no look up table. In the 12 form at the 111 "question" the table cannot be "seen" and I get the message "Cannot Open Any More Databases". If I hit the esc key the message goes away but the I am still unable to see the "answers" from the yes/no look up table.

I was checking the forms and went back to the beginning without closing them and went back through them in order and the 2nd form got a 3048 Can not open any more databases error.

I went to the MS Knowledge Base and entered that error number but that information is not available at this time. Perhaps an undocumented error?

Try entering "Cannot Open Any More Databases" in a google search. You'll get hits. 3048 has to do with table handles.
