Error at bootup on dell laptop 1

I ahve a dell inspiron 4150. At bootup it says "an error has been detected. Contact dell and code #M1004" what does that mean? Also the fan is very loud now. The system is very slow yet all of the memory is there when i check system settings. can anyone help??
