I am trying to upgrade Office XP to 2003 and have created a transform file using the custom installation wizard. The transform file is located in the same location as the installation files and I have used the command line that the wizard has given me. The installation begins and then I get a error saying "error applying transforms. Make sure the path is valid" The path is valid as far as I know and I am hoping someone can tell me how to fix this. The reason I am using the transform is to store the local installation files so that patching Office 2003 will not require the original cd. This is necessary is it not?
