Error/Alarm Codes Short Desc. List

Does anyone have a short description list of error and alarm codes?

I have three big Avaya maintenance books and I need a quick reference guide for the codes. Don't need the test to perform, just a description for each code.

Hey novatech. I dont think that their anything out there that is going to be that easy on your error codes. You might check the Avaya website. Something that you may want to do is do a display errors. Then choose resolved errors. This will give you a history of what alarms the switch has had. From there you could look them up in your maintenance books and have a good list of error codes that your switch has had in the past and have a pretty good idea what that is next time. If you find any mistakes, please consider that they are there for a purpose. And everyone needs a purpose.

I always find it easier to use the online documents. Then I do a search for the object in trouble. That way I am also in the area that tells me what the tests are for. Avaya has a wide range of every conceivable documentation you can download in a pdf format.
