I am using Windows XP and Office 2000. My ISP is Road Runner with Time Warner Cable. My problem is that when I receive an email from my office, a Read Receipt Request is sent along with it. When I click OK it goes into my "sent" file. After it has attempted to send the receipt I get the following error:
"The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. Server Response: '550 relaying mail to (My Company.com) is not allowed'. (Account: 'Road Runner High Speed Online Account (my user ID)', SMTP Server: 'smtp-server.tx.rr.com', Error Number : 0x800ccc79)."
My Options are set up to "Process receipts on Arrival" and "Ask me before sending a response." I have written to Road Runner Tech Support but have yet to receive a response after 3 days. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
